On Sunday the 28th of May we took part in the Medieval Day at the Castle.
Fantastic weather and a fantastic turnout. We exhibited a small display of our work on the ‘Scotton Heritage Project’ and we were delighted by the interest shown by visitors, both locals and tourists.
We had people showing interest in joining our group, buying our previous book related to the village of Scriven, asking when our new book on Scotton will be available and also answering general enquiries about Knaresborough families, did we want to look through maps and deeds relating to other local villages, the questions went on all afternoon. We saw well over a hundred people and we thank them for their interest and support.
When we exhibit again next year we hope to have the new book available!
